An idea born out of boredom and frustration – two writers sick of wading through the abyss of FictionPress and totally over writer’s block decided that coming up with a heap of challenges and plot bunnies and maybe running a contest or two was a good idea. So, the Naked Notebook Awards came into being. We’ve not really got much idea what we’re doing, but we figure we’ve got a crazy cool group of people involved right now and nothing to lose by going for it. Keep an eye on the updates page for contests, new challenges and other cool stuff.

Okay. We're getting some expressions of interest and excitement. Brouc says 'JOIN THE SITE!' It'd be good to build a bit of a community on here. Introduce yourself in the forum, because there's no posts in there!
CHECK OUT THE CONTESTS PAGE. Our first contest - Unconventional Romances, is now ready. To give whoever would like to write a new story for the contest (which is ideally what we're looking for) we're going to open nominations sometime soon, but have an extra long nomination period.
